1. In chapter 4 of the reading, the authors spend a lot of time talking about the way facts are presented. Outside of breaking news, do straight news accounts still exist?

2. Is it the role of the media to act as a watchdog, or simply present the facts to the public?

3. When reporting, journalists use multiple types of sources. Depending on the circumstances, what is the most credible type of source? In your opinion, are anonymous sources credible or controversial? Explain.

4. Is there truly a way to eliminate bias in journalism?
